The Ten Commandments:
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.
2. Remember the Sabbath and keep it holy.
3. Honor your father and mother, and you will have a long life.
4. Thou shalt not murder.
5. Thou shalt not bring false testimony about your neighbor.
6. Thou shalt not steal.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not covet your neighbors wife or possessions.
9. Thou shalt not make any graven images to worship.
10. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
The law was given such that Mankind would know right from wrong. Things are that wrong are sin.
